If there are any Travis Henry fantasy owners out there, you are going to love this story. Henry our new favorite drug addict, and Denver Broncos running back has failed another drug test, and now is facing a one year repeat violation suspension. Through the first 4 weeks of the season, Henry, like most Broncos running backs before him, has led the league in rushing.
Of course he won’t go down without a fight, the NFL is using a “B-Sample” to confirm the failing of the “A-Sample”, and denying Henry’s expert to be present. Henry doesn’t like that idea, so he has taken the NFL to federal court to attempt to block this from happening.
Greg Aiello, Vice President of PR for the NFL, has confirmed that the NFL is involved in legal action with Henry, but cited confidentiality policies as a way not to comment any further, basically not commenting at all on a failed drug test, or if one even happened I suppose.
If this all works out the way I assume it will, Henry will get a year long ban, and the Broncos will have to find someone else to rush for 1000 yards, could it be you?
