Here is an interesting stat from our fair and unbiased NBA Finals thus far.
Personal fouls:
_____________________________________
Game 1 - 29-22 (Lakers with more fouls)
Game 2 - 28-21 (Lakers)
Game 3 - 28-23 (Boston)
Game 4 - 24-23 (Boston)
Game 5 - 28-28 (Push)

This stat in itself might not be as obvious until one realizes that prior to Game 4,
“on June 10, 2008, Donaghy’s attorney filed a court document alleging, among other things, that Game 6 of the 2002 Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings was fixed by two referees. The letter states that Donaghy “learned from Referee A that Referees A and F wanted to extend the series to seven games.”
So, it seems hard for me to believe that the refs weren’t affecting the outcome of games because now it seems pretty obvious when you look at the cold hard evidence above that they are now forcibly keeping it even. Please comment if you disagree, because I want to be proven wrong, I want to believe that the NBA isn’t one big charade.
The corruption of professional sports rears its ugly head once again! Thanks a lot David Stern for obliterating what was once a great sport to watch.

Why did Jon Lester get suspended for 5 games and why did he accept? I know he wont miss a start. But he was never tossed out of the game, so why the punishment?

Matt Ryan, former Heisman candidate, leads the #18 BC Eagles in a HUGE ACC match-up at Clemson tonight. A win for BC would put them in their first ACC championship game ever, and a possible BCS bowl bid.
The game can be seen on ESPN2 at 7:45PM eastern. GO EAGLES!!!!!!

I think the Sox will win in … 5 or 6. I still haven’t made up my mind, but I am working on it. The Sox pitching is way to much for the Rockies, I just don’t think their bats will overcome it. I think the Sox also have two other major advantages, both of which are intertwined. Experience and Home Field advantage. I am sure the Rockies fans are rabid, insane, and the worlds greatest (Don’t we hear this every year about the small market teams) but are you going to sit there and tell me, that they are any worse the Yankees fans, I think not. In 2004, we heard all about the St Louis fans, how they are the greatest fans, blah blah blah. Now imagine yourself a Rockies player coming into Fenway, ask the Indians how that worked out.
Now to the experience, the Sox have, the Rockies don’t, well except for greatness himself Wily Taveras. Of course I peruse message boards, and see what the common man is thinking, and everyone points to the Sox, losing 2 out of 3 to the Rockies in the regular season. REGULAR SEASON, this is playoff time, ask any baseball guy they will tell you all bets are off in the playoffs. Looking at the game, we did lose to them, the Schilling loss to the Rockies, you know the 12-2 game, well Schilling went on the DL 10 days later.
So say what you will, the Sox will take the Series, and you better bleive I will be at the parade this time.
