I hate these Fox announcers, they do have a distaste for the Red Sox. At one point they talked about how great of a play that the Indians made, but the Sox got on base, and there was no out.
JD Drew just doubled his entire RBI count for the season, in this game, he has 5
Youkilis just head-butted the ball, thats it game, we win, feel free to change it, Game 7 tomorrow….
Vartiek is just not a good hitter, is he
At some point, I stopped watching the game, and started to watch Futurama, I did see the end.
LETS GO DICE-K

WOW!!! Is there any team hotter than the Colorado Rockies right now? In any sport? After last nights 5-1 win, Im convinced they will be the NL representative in the World Series this year. If recent history shows us anything, its that if a team gets hot at the right time (ie. playoffs) they can roll right through everyone on their way to a world championship. Just look at the last few World Series champs, last years Cardinals, the White Sox in 2005, and the Red Sox in 2004 all got hot at the right time. None of those teams SHOULD have won the title. But they did, and that makes me scared to death of the Rockies.

Well back again for another installment of my MLB playoff predictions, so without further ado, MY PICKS
NLCS - Rockies vs Diamondbacks
Winner - Diamondbacks in 6
The Rockies wild ride comes to an end, albeit a slow ending. I think the Diamondbacks pitching is to strong, and as a team, I feel this is a team that can win it all. The Rockies do come in the hottest team in baseball, but I think the Diamonbacks are too good to be swept up in it
ALCS - Red Sox vs Indians
Winner - Red Sox in 5 (no not because I am homer)
I think the Sox depth at pitching will win them the series. I don’t think Westbrook can beat the Sox, and I don’t think Carmona can either. Sabbitha is a beast, both as a pitcher, and a man, but the Sox have Josh Beckett, who seems to love pitching in the Playoffs, which will cancel out the Sabbitha issue. I also think the Red Sox can hit better than any other team left in the playoffs, so yeah, this one won’t be very close.
Next Week, we will have my World Series Predictions.

Are you kidding me, you are going to fire the guy, that in the last 12 years, has managed 12 playoff teams, has gone to six world series, and won 4. I just can’t understand why you would want to fire him. How the hell was it his fault that the management decide Carl Pavano, Jared Wright, Kevin Brown, and giving Roger Clemens all that money. Thats not to mention the debatable free agents, IE Johnny Damon for one. How isn’t anyone talking about Cashman losing his job, I mean sure he started to rebuild the farm system, but what the hell has he done to win, signing any of those guys were not a way to do it. I am sure you will hear from my counterpart that Torre mismanaged games this year, you know at some point some of the fault has to fall on some of the upper management not giving him the right tools to manage the game correct. I think the Yankees firing Joe Torre might be the biggest mistake in their long and storied history.
